Real Roof Ventilation Repairs & Installations

Our Services

Soffit Installation and Repair

Soffits play a crucial role in providing ventilation to your attic. We offer professional installation and repair services for both vented and solid soffits. Properly installed soffits allow fresh air to enter the attic, helping to regulate temperature and prevent moisture buildup.

Baffle Channels

Baffle channels, or rafter vents, are essential for maintaining a clear airflow from the soffits into the attic. We install baffle channels to prevent insulation from blocking air passage, ensuring your attic has consistent and efficient ventilation.

Roof Vents

Roof vents are critical for expelling hot, moist air from the attic, preventing heat buildup and moisture problems. We offer a variety of roof vent solutions, including ridge vents, box vents, and turbine vents, tailored to meet the specific needs of your home.

Improving Bathroom Fan Connections

Improperly vented bathroom fans can lead to excess moisture in the attic, causing mold and mildew. We ensure that your bathroom fans are correctly vented to the exterior of your home, preventing moisture problems and improving indoor air quality.

Power Fans

Power attic fans help to regulate the temperature in your attic by expelling hot air and drawing in cooler air. We install and maintain both solar-powered and electric power fans, providing an energy-efficient solution to keep your attic cool and dry.

Comprehensive Ventilation Assessment

Our experts provide a thorough assessment of your current attic ventilation system, identifying areas for improvement and recommending the best solutions. We aim to enhance your home’s energy efficiency and prevent issues such as ice dams, mold, and structural damage.

Customized Ventilation Solutions

Every home is unique, and so are its ventilation needs. We offer customized ventilation solutions designed to meet the specific requirements of your property, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of your roofing system.

The Year-Round Benefits of Proper Attic Ventilation

During Warmer Months

Ventilation helps keep attics cool by allowing a steady flow of cooler air to enter and expel hot air. This prevents heat buildup, which can cause the temperature in your attic to reach up to 170°F, leading to increased cooling costs and potential damage to roofing materials.

During Colder Months

Ventilation reduces moisture to help keep attics dry and prevent ice dams. Without proper ventilation, warm air from the living areas can rise into the attic, where it cools and condenses, leading to moisture problems and potential structural damage.

The purpose of an attic ventilation system is to provide added comfort, protect against damage to your home's structure and materials, and to help reduce energy consumption throughout the year.

Attic Air Flow and Temperature

How Ventilation Works

One of the most common problems we see with soffit vents is that they were either never properly installed, or the right size and quantity of vents were not installed. Additionally, we run into issues where wood soffit does not have it’s intake holes cut, or vents are put on superficially, with no path behind them for the air to take. Insulation can also clog the access, covering critical openings.

Efficient ventilation requires a balanced system of intake and exhaust vents to provide a continuous flow of air:

Intake Vents

Typically installed in soffits, intake vents allow cooler air to enter the attic.

Exhaust Vents

Exhaust vents such as ridge vents, expel hot, moist air from the attic.
