While once considered innovative, OMNI systems are difficult to service and nearly impossible to re-pitch once they begin sagging.
Chris noticed all the typical symptoms: standing water after storms, uneven runs that undercut performance, and a dated look that clashed with the landscaping she takes pride in. As she later wrote in her review: “In receiving numerous quotes from other companies, they never fully explained the differences of this OMNI gutter system versus traditional gutters (OMNI is all one-piece, seamless, no fascia, attached to the house).”
She had already reached out to multiple contractors. One estimator pushed repairs but admitted they weren’t guaranteed. Another company barely returned her calls and seemed more interested in showing off past projects than solving her problem. Chris was tired of patchwork proposals and sales pitches that didn’t address the issue.
The turning point came when a roofing company told her she didn’t need a new roof yet — just a new gutter system — and encouraged her to look for a contractor familiar with OMNI conversions. After more research, Chris found Holda Construction.

For all these reasons, we recommended converting to a traditional system with new wood fascia, aluminum wrap, 6″ seamless K-style gutters, oversized outlets, and 3×4 downspouts—a clean look that’s easy to maintain.
The project was structured in two phases to protect Chris’s yard and get every detail right:

We walked the property with Chris to confirm the plan, talk through protection for landscaping/holiday lights, agree on work hours, delivery locations, dumpster placement (if any), and how we’d communicate daily updates.
Removed the old OMNI gutters, built a straight, plumb wood fascia backer, and capped it with aluminum.
Fabricated and installed 6″ seamless K-style gutters with heavy-gauge aluminum, hidden hangers, oversized outlets, and 3×4 downspouts. Every run was laser-checked for pitch, and corners were finished with tight miters and clean terminations.
Landscaping and holiday lights were protected throughout. At the end, the crew straightened and aligned the holiday lights as a courtesy.
A short equipment hiccup during fabrication paused work briefly, but the crew reset and finished on schedule with no added cost.
Chris noticed the difference in craftsmanship. “The care each of his crew-members took was incredible. I’ve found the quality of work and work-ethics has been declining currently, but this company proved me wrong.”
For Chris, this wasn’t about gutters—it was about ending the cycle of unclear answers and temporary fixes. “Thank goodness someone finally explained that I didn’t need a new roof, but definitely a new gutter system,” she said. By choosing a full OMNI-to-K-style conversion, she solved the root problem, improved her home’s look, and found peace of mind in a process handled with care.

By the end of September, the transformation was obvious. The home now has a proper fascia, wrapped in aluminum, and a K-style gutter system that looks polished and functions the way it should. The larger outlets and downspouts carry more water, the fascia lines frame the home neatly, and the system is built to last.
Chris summed it up in her review: “My house looks polished and brand new! Amazing what a properly installed gutter system can do to improve the aesthetics of your home.”
